Why the Democrats have it wrong....

For the past three years our economy has weakened.
Democrats blame former President Bush, but neglected it mentioned a Democratic majority,
has been legislating since January, 2007. Since they took control of our nation's purse
strings, more accurately the national credit card, deficit spending outran our ability to keep it
manageable.  And, things only got worse.

The razzle-dazzle of Washington did what it always does. Cast blame elsewhere, claims there
is a crisis, and spends money it does not have. Unfortunately, fifteen month later things are
not any better, more than 8 million people joined the ranks of the unemployed, three trillion
dollars was added to our national debt, yet we are led to believe things are getting better,
despite the failure to see any evidence.

So, should we try a different recipe to strengthen our economy, one which has only increased the
number of government jobs, and none in the private sector?

Here is a question...are all jobs equal?

Jobs are created in either the public or private sector. But are equal in the eyes of the individual
employed, but are they equal to the US Treasury Dept.?

Unfortunately, they are not. But, worse, our government believes they are.

Yes, we need teachers, police, and other local, state and Federal workers. But, aside for them
being in the service of their communities, they are also a burden. All receive income from levels
of government which employs them, money the government receives in the form of taxes from
the population at large.

However, as the number of employed in the private sector diminishes so does the revenue their
salaries provide.
